The whole cookie tin, scattered across cranberry-red pinstripe satin: iced gingerbread men mid-dance, gingerbread hearts and stars, tiny gingerbread houses, knit stockings, mittens, candy canes and ornament baubles, all dusted with snowflakes. The gingerbread keeps its warm brown-and-white-icing detail with little pops of red, green and gold candy dots, so it reads more "decorating the tree with cocoa going cold" than novelty print.
